Perform protocol development to implement a US FDA- and Europe CE-IVD approved cancer diagnostic test system into our laboratory in Hong Kong Protocol development of different cutting-edging sequencing platform and technologies Prepare grant proposals to apply founding from ITF to support R&D staffs’ salaries and R&D activities Lead and manage the R&D team Involve in the review of performances and market potentials of new diagnostic products and provide comments and advices to senior management team for their decision-making on investment of those new products   PhD in Biomedical Science/ Medical Laboratory Science or related field 3-year of related work experience in the field (NGS) Strong sense of teamwork and able to work under pressure, mature and a good team player Adaptive personality with flexible mindset Good language skills, and familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word Candidates with less experience are welcome to apply

Laboratory Manager

Provide leadership and management to the laboratory assistants and MLTs Supervise technical staffs and arrange training for staffs Manage and monitor laboratory operations and functions; ensure adherence to SOP Signing laboratory reports Participate in instrument evaluation, test method development, continuous. quality improvement exercise and risk assessment Maintain inventory control of supplies and reagent Participate in quality control running & external proficiency testing Oversee maintenance and servicing of equipment Ensure the computer LIS system is optimized for intended use Perform professional duties as specified by Laboratory Director   Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline Registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board (MLT Part I) Familiar with ISO 15189:2012 and HOKLAS accreditation in medical laboratory With minimum of 8 years’ experience in Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory With experience in issuing HOKLAS-endorsed clinical reports is an advantage Fluent in Cantonese and English, writing and speaking; fluency in Mandarin is a plus Proficiency in computer skills Good team player with good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills High sense of cooperation Holiday and weekend rotations, overnight shifts are required Fluent in Cantonese and English, writing and speaking, Mandarin is plus   Attractive remuneration package and staff benefits Comprehensive on-the-job and continuous trainings Opportunities for professional and personal development Friendly working environment

Laboratory Director

Competent in various discipline beside core lab operation including Molecular Pathology and Microbiology is advantage To maintain records and manages quality activities and laboratory testing activities as documented in procedures and test methods To ensure testing/calibration services meet client's requirements and expectations in terms of accurate data interpretation, timeliness and technical standards To maintain a proficient working team by recruiting, training and monitoring the staff To review and sign test report/ calibration certificates To provide technical consultation as required To report work progress, deficiencies or malfunctions to the top management, To liaise with client and respond to their inquiries Performs other duties as assigned   Registration with the Hong Kong or Overseas Medical Technologist Board Part I status Bachelor Degree in Science/Biomedical Science or related disciplines, preferably with a Master’s degree At least 8 years’ solid experience at laboratory supervisory level, preferably with experience in acting as approved signatory Good common of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated managerial and supervisory ability and well-developed leadership skills

Medical Technologist

For Medical Technologist (MLT I) Provide leadership and management to the laboratory technologists and sections Organize staff rosters Supervise technical staffs and arrange training for staffs Signing laboratory reports Oversee maintenance and servicing of equipment Assist technical manager to develop new tests, provide technical support Ensure the computer LIS system is optimized for intended use For both Medical Technologist (MLT I) and Associate Medical Technologist (MLT II) Perform molecular and serology diagnostic tests Maintain quality systems and service including compiling laboratory documentation and standard operating procedure Participate in internal and external proficiency testing Daily QC check Routine maintenance of equipment   Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline Registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board (MLT Part I or II) Familiar with ISO 15189:2012 and HOKLAS accreditation in medical laboratory With minimum of 4 years’ experience in molecular genetics plus or minus serology field for Medical Technologist (MLT I), fresh graduates are welcome for Associate Medical Technologist (MLT II) With experience in issuing clinical reports and expect to apply for HOKLAS approved signatory (AS) in the field of molecular genetics (AS in serology is a plus) for Medical Technologist (MLT I) Fluent in Cantonese and English, writing and speaking; fluency in Mandarin is a plus Proficiency in computer skills Good communication skills High sense of cooperation Shift duty is required   Attractive remuneration package and staff benefits Comprehensive on-the-job and continuous trainings Opportunities for professional and personal development Friendly working environment Holiday and weekend rotations are required when necessary

Perform molecular biology / diagnostic product research and development Design and conduct experiments and day-to-day analytical works Analyse results and prepare experimental documents and reports Assist in protocols and SOPs development Assist in managing laboratory and supervise junior members Routine procedures, such as primary cell culture, tissue modelling, growth medium optimization, etc. Design and implement a formula testing workflow based on cell culture and tissue models Design and implement standard operating procedures for daily laboratory operations Actively participate in brainstorming and implementing new product ideas Assist to complete other necessary laboratory work   Biology, chemistry, or life sciences background Ideally, experience in R&D companies Phil or Ph.D.in life science, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or related discipline is preferred Phil or Ph.D. in cell biology, experience in stem cell field is preferred
